Ryder_Rocky Mountain Bliss

"Teton Mountains Bliss" has been a joy to watch develop.  It started as a simple monochromatic painting with different values.  I began working with triad colors on the color wheel; the result is dramatic.  It is one of those paintings that looks intriguing from various angles.

The silk gives the canvas actual and visual texture, creates movement lines that bring the viewer into the painting and leads to the focal point (Teton mountain peaks).
