Mystery Forest

I am very partial to bamboo, forests, and shadows.  I started with stretched canvas (gessoed), attached silk, draped loosely, on the back of the canvas stretcher bars.  Using oils, I painted a forest of mystery.  The painting was awarded First Prize in a the Placerville Arts Association Show in late 2015.
